Regional Service Technician – NE Region

As a Regional Service Technician for JENSEN-GROUP, you will be at the forefront of delivering top-notch sales support and technical service solutions to our valued clients within your designated region. This position requires a unique blend of technical know-how, customer service excellence, and the ability to drive service sales through effective problem-solving and product knowledge.

Ideal candidates will possess excellent maintenance and problem-solving skills. They must demonstrate flexibility with a hands-on approach and a positive attitude to deal with a wide variety of tasks and a willingness to work overtime, including weekends at various customers sites throughout the country. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting edge equipment in a fast-paced environment. In-house and on-the-job training will be given to the right candidates.

Responsibilities:

  • Service, maintenance, and repair of commercial laundry equipment
  • Installation and commissioning of new machines 
  • Field based, customer focused, working with clients throughout United States
  • Assist the sales team in identifying customer needs, presenting solutions, and closing sales for our range of products and services
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of sales activities, service interventions, customer interactions, ensuring all activities are properly documented and reported.

Position/Skill Requirements:

  • Experience working on commercial laundry equipment or in another FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) sector 
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment.
  • Fault finding and diagnostic skills in Electrical, hydraulic, Pneumatic, and general maintenance and repairs in automated equipment
  • Ability to read and work with electrical and hydraulic schematics
  • Good problem solving and diagnostic skills
  • To be familiar with all aspects of Windows and Microsoft office
  • Full US driving licence / US resident 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A customer-first approach, with the ability to build rapport and understand customer needs.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region and    occasionally beyond
  • Ability to work under pressure
