Double doors for sorting bins

The added option of double doors for sorting bins allows for seemingly continuous sorting.

Highlights

  • By separating the sorting bin into a top section and bottom weighing section, the sorting operator will experience near continuous sorting.
  • As soon as the bin reaches the assigned weight for the sorted category, the double doors will close allowing the bottom (weighing) portion of the bin to be separated from the top portion of the chute.
  • This allows the operator to continue sorting into the top portion while the bottom portion is discharging the load from the bin. Once the discharge is complete, the double doors will open to the full chute to allow for the sorted material to fall to the bottom of the chute for continued weighing and sorting.
  • This additional option to the sorting bins drastically reduces the amount of down time for the sorting operators.

Increase production levels

  • While standard on the ContinuSort, double doors can be added to the MultiSort configuration to drastically improve sorting productivity.
  • By seemingly eliminating down-time for sorting operators, the double doors can provide a constant flow of work for the Futurail rail system.

Reduce operator down-time

  • No longer will the sorting operator need to wait on a cleared bin.
  • As soon as the bins weight is reached, the doors will close, allowing the operator to continue sorting.
  • Without double doors, the sorting operator will need to wait the entire process of the bin unloading and the belt moving the load along the system.
  • With double doors, the wait time is almost eliminated, allowing the sorting operator to continue sorting and processing laundry.

Get the most of your sorting system

  • Each sorting bin is very valuable in the sorting process.
  • You can never have enough bins to process every category.
  • With double doors, the sorting platform is able to perform faster than ever.
  • Your bins are available for sorting as soon as the previous batch weight is met.
  • The availability of bins has never been quicker.
