Empty your pockets please!

And if you don’t, you shouldn’t worry.

The soil sort of garments can now be automated, thanks to a  fantastic team of laundry nerds from Denmark that engineered an ingenious solution. Inwatec’s automated soil sort system minimizes the need for human interaction to quality control and surveillance, and consists of an X-ray machine and a learning system. Intelligent robots offer unlimited possibilities, with X-Ray technology improving the occupational safety.

Foreign objects in garments can ruin your laundry equipment and your garments, so we make sure those pockets full of stuff are emptied before the garments enter the laundry process.

It avoids hygiene issues, it’s much better for the operators’ safety and the environment when robots do a part of the job by alerting that pockets need to be emptied.
