Service Technician, JENSEN USA

The JENSEN-GROUP develops, manufactures and delivers single machines and complete turn-key solutions to automate industrial laundries worldwide. Our Sales & Service Center in Panama City Florida is recruiting a Service Technician to serve our customers in North America.

Essential Job Functions     

  • Installation & Commissioning of new machinery
  • Attend breakdowns and repair machinery in a timely manner
  • Provide service-related assistance by way of phone support
  • Efficient at reading and following electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings to provide further diagnostics to assist in the timely repairs of machines
  • Maintain service reports and submit these in a timely manner upon completion of repair
  • Communicate with the factories for repair processes and diagnostic information
  • Analyses and troubleshoot problems
  • Any other duties assigned by superior from time to time
  • Interested and enthusiastic about your work, driven by success, proactive and independent
  • Willing to travel to in North America and Internationally is needed
  • Knowledge of general Health and Safety obligations

 
Remuneration

  • Competitive Salary based upon experience and qualifications to be discussed on interview.

Job Requirements

  • Trade certificate in either Mechanical or Electrical trades, with a high level of electrical diagnostic skills
  • Fault finding and diagnostic skills in Electrical, hydraulic, Pneumatic, and general maintenance and repairs in automated equipment
  • Ability to read and work with electronic and hydraulic schematics
  • Possess strong analytical skills in the evaluation of reports of technical issues, research findings; and/or output of a system/process etc
  • To be familiar with all aspects of Windows and Microsoft office
  • Conversant with product specific software programs
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs and work at above average levels of physical activity
  • Must be able to travel more than 75% of the time and able to work safely on-site and in our workshop environment
  • Should understand general production environments to be able to relate to our end users wants and needs and be able to communicate clearly
  • Must have work authorization for the United States
