The Dutch company Vendrig IJsselstein, headquartered near Utrecht, is active in the textile management sector, including the delivery, care, and rental of work clothing. Like the JENSEN-GROUP, the laundry Vendrig was also established in 1960. LHLSI, London Hospital Linen Service Inc. is a private, not-for-profit cooperative laundry that has “always a step ahead” strongly anchored in its DNA. It was the first laundry in Canada to provide sterile linen packs to its clients, which was quite an innovative feature in 1995. The laundry of the logistics base of the Swiss Army in Sursee (near Lucerne) processes more than 10 tons of wash and items for washing every day, which the Swiss army uses for its exercises. In total, more than 2,500 different items are washed at this facility and made ready for use again in the field. Socks and protective suits are washed just as thoroughly here as overshoes, tarpaulins and backpacks. Ammunition and other hazardous objects that should not find their way into the washing process must be removed before the thorough cleaning. JENSEN launched its new ergonomic sorting platform at the Texcare International show in Frankfurt, in 2016. As it maximizes the laundry sorting volume, this ergonomic solution boosts the productivity in the sorting area. It also reduces work-related fatigue and increases operator performance. The first customer to immediately see the benefits of this new design was the largest French textile rental group in Europe and Latin America, Elis. Removing the dirty work in a laundry is a process that was not automated until a very short while ago. A dynamic and young group of laundry nerds in the Danish city of Odense found a solution for that. From the Baltic Sea to the World….. and back: The journey started by our company founder, the late Jørn Jensen who dreamed about a ticket to the world, has been continued by the next generation. After 56 years of global expansion, the JENSEN-GROUP is now opening a Sales & Service Center on the Island of Bornholm - where it all started.
The JENSEN-GROUP reports a record revenue with a 19.5% increase compared to 2014. With a revenue amounting to 286.3 million Euro, the company has become the number one supplier to the heavy-duty laundry industry.

The laundry A&M Basse Meuse in Belgium uses the JENSEN Jenrail system for sorting the customer´s linen in the finishing area and for invoicing. In combination with a newly developed program, the system ensures that all linen for one customer in the Jenrail system is finished before starting with a new customer. The engineering requirements for this new program was defined in close cooperation with Marc Broers from A&M Basse Meuse. Jørn Munch Jensen was born on June 10, 1932 in Rønne on the Danish island of Bornholm. He spent a happy childhood with his sister Ella in a family of hard workers; his father ran his own company where dairy equipment was repaired. After a training as machinist and obtaining a degree from business college, Jørn decided to pursue his long time dream of living an international life. We can truly say that his life - and consequently the life of his family - has become very international.

Today was the first day for Texcare Asia 2011, the prime venue for the laundry, drycleaning and textile services industry in China and the Asia Pacific Region. Until Saturday evening, an expected 6000 visitors from around the world will be able to discover the latest technologies and innovations. Most of them seem to have rushed to the JENSEN booth, which was probably the busiest and most crowded one.

The new Jenfeed Express is a high-volume feeder for fast feeding of sheets and draw sheets.
