Main responsibilities will be:

  • Responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of industrial washers, dryers, ironer, folders, conveyors, and other equipment
  • Troubleshoot/adjust PLC software, and participate in system start up and commissioning
  • Troubleshoot, install equipment, analyse and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults, including compressed air operated machines, and hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
  • Perform diagnosis and inspections of equipment
  • Perform minor fine-tuning of laundry systems
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks
  • Prepare and maintain records and reports
  • Assist in spare parts process at times
  • Perform related work as assigned

 

Requisite: 

  • Minimum 5-8 years experience in engineering related job
  • Experience working on commercial laundry equipment or in another FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) sector preferred but not a must
  • Class 3/3A Driving License
  • Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Mechanical Engineering qualifications
  • Electrical/mechanical fault finding
  • Independent, Proactive, Mature, Team Player
